I miss them

When I was going through my spousal abuse, I was asked to watch this movie by a friend. I rented the movie and watched it so many times, I memorized every line. It was my life with my monster husband who after the divorce i would refer to him as the son of satan. These people are possessed weak individuals who possess demonic forces that attract themselves to empaths like myself, loving, caring and giving, and they tear them up from the inside out in every way they can. He never physically beat me up, but the mental and sexual abuse was colossal. Since it has been many years, I found out only the Faith in Jesus Christ saved me. If I didn't have my Faith in Jesus I would not be here today. My most painful punishment from him was that he took the minds and hearts of my two daughters and to this day they don't talk to me. It's demonic. I know the Lord is watching all of this and everyone who has dealt with this need to know that God exists and vengeance is His. I believe that I will see this monster destroyed and dismantled in Jesus' name.

My ex started the same. Sweet, attentive, made sure I was never nervous, upset, frightened in anyway. Would never allow someone to hurt, disrespect or even dismiss me. Then we got married. First few weeks were amazing. Then little things began to happen, so small I didn’t notice like he’d yell, but would immediately apologize, then the occasional downgrade on something I did or said..but would later apologize. Then the shoves started, with flowers & dinner to apologize. Then the isolation I never noticed ( come to find out he told my friends to,stay away, that I needed to focus on being a wife & soon a mother) then shoves became hits for dinner not being hot when he’d come home late, or for not vacuuming the carpet his way. I was able to relate with the movie a lot. It took along time to trust once I got away, years. Even now it’s been 25 years & if my husband moves a certain way, I don’t mean to but I jerk back. He’s never even yelled at me in a disagreement but I can’t help it. Sometimes if I’m late getting home which means dinner is late or getting the kids ready is late I get anxious just because sometimes I can’t help but forget I’m not there anymore.

Brutal description! This was a good campy Saturday matinee movie of the mid 60's with well known actors. Roy Orbison in The Fastest Guitar was also good movie of that period . Roy's accent was as funny as the movie.
